In a league of its own aesthetics, we introduce to you the MSR Sniper Rifle. It also comes in tan. How awesome is that? What else could you rifle loving, sniper diehards, wish for?

Our guy Lee loves the look of this sleek packaging. The quality that's gone into the box alone is really impressive. It has nice packed foam and could last a fairly long time just travelling back and forth to the games with your blaster inside!

OVERVIEW 

Starting from tip to butt, the MSR Sniper Rifle comes with: 

• Nylon flash hider
• Nylon outer barrel
• Nylon front hand guard
• Nylon upper receiver
• Nylon lower receiver
• Nylon magazine
• Nylon rear butt stock
• Body has aluminium adjustment wheels
• Nylon cheek riser
• Nylon rear end of the butt stock with a mix between a little bit of a softer nylon (it is still quite hard though)
• Beautifully textured rubber grip
• Metal trigger
• Metal charging handle for the bolt
• Metal componentry inside the actual bolt assembly
• Nylon construction magazine (can’t forget that one!)

😱 FYI: This magazine is unlike the previous versions of the rifles with the priming function, you won't be able to hear it! It’s battery operated, but when depressed, this blaster only feeds for a couple of seconds. If you hold the bolt back, it's not going to continually try to feed gels into the chamber. You're only going to get a slight feed, so it will be great to stop that double feeding issue that may have occurred in previous models.

Keeping it short & sweet for this one; easy 10/10. That’s it. No more said.

FIRE POWER

This blaster does have the magazine primed by battery which is awesome! It will help aid you to shoot this blaster a little bit quicker. It does perform quite well, check out the above video to see how it shoots through the chrono and see exactly what FPS it hits (from 5:42 seconds)! We rate this one a solid 8/10!

MODABILITY 

The MSR Sniper Rifle has plenty of picatinny real estate, so you can add your attachments to the blaster to make it look cooler externally. Internally, you're only going to really have the option of upgrading or downgrading your spring, depending what FPS you're trying to hit.

You can still paint this blaster, so we rate this one a 4/10.

DURABILITY 

Lastly, we rate this one at a solid 9/10. It’s a very solid setup. There are a few nylon things on this blaster, but other than that it has a nice solid metal hinge down the rear for your buttstock. What can we say? Quite a solid piece of gear!

FOR WHERE & WHO?

This blaster is definitely designed to be used on the outdoor field, especially for you guys looking to hide in the bushes and get rid of everyone else on the field. This blaster is not suited for the CQB fields. Young all the way through to old can use this one and would also look awesome for a sniper character cosplay!
