ARP 9 Modded Blasters
ARP 9 Modded Blasters 😎
A couple of you guys have asked for a while about the blasters on Lee’s back wall, so we are very proud to deliver a run through on some of these blasters that Lee mods right in our megastore at Morayfield! Specifically, we’re going to run through the ARP 9.
Firstly, we have the SILVER FOX

This blaster does run on 11 volt and a perun mosfet. It doesn’t have a battery and has a nice little trigger! It shoots at around 30 rounds a second at 300 FPS. So, this one was actually built to be legal to take to all of your speed QB fields and not go over that limit. To see how this one goes on the chrono check out Lee’s video above from 5:24!
You can upgrade the motors in these blasters to try and get some higher RPS. These do struggle around 30-32 RPS with feeding. The Silver Fox definitely isn’t retiring anytime soon, Lee even has plans to upgrade the standard barrel to a PTA 1.
For this blaster, with these mods, you’d be looking at around the $1,500 mark. With all labour and parts included it doesn’t have to fit that price point, you can change it to suit your needs or budget! We can definitely work with you and your budget at any of our M4A1 stores if you’d like to look at something like this.
NEXT UP: SLOW BOY
This one is heavily done!

ARP’s have a solid base plate, one thing you should look into with your own ARP is looking at ways to vent out as much of that hot air as you can!

SHS piston
-
SHS piston head
-
16 to 1 SHS gear set with DSG sector gear

Hold it!
There are a lot of springs out there that definitely don’t perform as well. Remember that you can three different styles of SHS and they can all give you different FPS. Definitely look out for that when you’re building a DSG, you’re only using half of your cylinder so you need to make sure you have a really good spring in there.
Stay tuned for a future episode featuring this blaster to see how it goes through the chrono and accuracy wise!
This one could set you back from $2,500 and above. This one has had roughly 35 hours put into it by Lee! It takes a long time to build a DSG and perfect it, they’re certainly not as easy to build as a single sector gear build!
You can put these together quickly but… let us know if it’s still running.
LASTLY: BIG O
The workhorse!

We use this for one of our team members in the primal tech armoury team for Speed QB! To see how this one goes on the chrono check out Lee’s video above from 11:41! It does shoot around at 30 RPS and around that 300 FPS. Depending on what size you're sizing your gels to, you can even squeeze it up to that 320 FPS!
This one is actually the cheapest blaster out of this list! Lee’s built this one nice and cheap, as this one would set you back around $800. Just remember, you don’t have to break the bank and build crazy builds! You can still use lower end parts and still get a very decent result.
