AUG A3

A faithful representation of the Austrian Steyr AUG, this blaster is a combination of metal and polymer construction.

Powerful

With a metal V3 style gearbox and metal gears, as well as a full metal rack piston with an aluminum piston head, this blaster is incredibly powerful. It also has heavy gauge silver plated wiring with a tamiya style plug.

Functional

The AUG has a two-stage trigger. Half pull it for a semi auto fire and fully pull it for full auto firing. It also includes a separate mechanical safety feature. This powerful blaster shoots at 290-320 FPS and is best recommended with Armour Tech Yellow gels.

Everything you need

This blaster is a one-stop shop and is equipped with everything you need to get started. This AUG comes with the blaster, magazine, collapsible speed-loader, safety glasses, and the 11.1v battery with the USB charger.

Good mutlipurpose Blaster - Underside rail needs improvement.

This blaster is great for both CQB and longer range engagements. It has some issues with feeding if the barrel is dry, which is easily solved by running a mag of gells through it. It also has an issue where the prongs that connect the electrical circuit to the mags can be accidentally pushed out of contact if the mag is inserted incorrectly, which leads to the blaster not feeding at all, but is an easy fix when identified.
The biggest detractor to this blaster, and the reason why it is not 5 star is the underside front rail where grips and underbarrel accessories are normally attached to is flimsy and an snap of with very little torque applied.. I recommend replacing that rail as soon as possible with a metal version.

This things feels solid, feels hefty enough to be a real AUG, and hits hard SO far mine has had no issues at time of writing this though I feel it will take quite some time due to the metal gearbox and assembly.

My only gripe is that there isn't a mag prime, though I've gotten around it by loading gels into the feed when I reload the magazines .

    Best blaster i own

Do you like having people drool over how good your gun is? Do you want to make people run away in a gel ball game when they see your blaster pointed at them? If so, This is for you!

This blaster is great. Yes, it doesnt have a mag prime, which isnt too much of a worry. Without a hop up its very accurate compared to other stock blasters. It shoots hard at 300 FPS but chews through ammo very quickly on full auto.

At first, i thought the two stage trigger will be annoying, but after using it for a day at a field. I can confirm that its not actually bad at all. In fact, i prefer it over the more traditional switch.

Now, There is two bad things that i can point out which i reccomend to look out for on this blaster.

The first being the safety switch can be pushed out, it doesnt get stopped after you push it to fire and can be pushed all the way through. Just be mindful about it.

The second which can be bad is the outer barrel does get loose. This is a common problem with all the AUGs from JGworks. Its a simple fix by just tightning up the grub screw at the front of the plastic body.

Please also be mindful. This blaster is heavy. I highly reccomend getting a sling to help if your going to carry the blaster around all day.
