SO WHAT DO WE RATE IT?
LOOKS
Our guy Lee reckons this is a pretty great looking blaster. #formyself he rates this blaster a strong 9/10 (almost a 10).
FIRE POWER
This blaster comes with a 480 motor and running nylon gears inside a nylon gearbox. It shoots around that 240 to 260 out of the box. Overall, we rate this one 6/10, purely because it is a little bit slower. That is a perk though, because this blaster is going to be nice and reliable long term.
MODABILITY
It's a V2 style platform, you can do a huge amount to this blaster, or drop in whatever you would like gearset wise. It has an awesome base to do a really cool build. Straight up 10/10.
DURABILITY
With everything on this blaster basically solid nylon, we give this one an 8/10. It is a very sturdy blaster, though it is designed to be a little bit “squidgy” at the base.
FOR WHERE & WHO?
This blaster is definitely designed to be used on the CQB style field, perfect for getting around those tight turns. Great for somewhere like Urban Gelball, Rapid Vantage, Speed QB, Speedsoft Australia, and more! The SLR CQB can be used in an outdoor field as well as modified quite heavily. You can get these to shoot quite a decent distance and young to old ages can use this blaster. What more could you ask for?
PLEASE REMEMBER: STOP & THINK
Always be smart when carrying a gel blaster in public. Don’t forget to KEEP THEM BAGGED when travelling from events or anywhere outside of your home. Always use eye protection and be safe! We want blasters to be around long-term so make sure you’re doing the right thing.
