RX AKS-47 Blaster 🔥

The RX factory have built upon the success of their AKM blaster by adding an AKMS to the range. This version of the RX AKMS comes with metal gears and a high quality 11.1volt battery straight out of the box.

OVERVIEW 

The AKS is a little different to the previous AKM. This one comes with a folding rear stock that is alloy and sturdy. This blaster has the upgraded nylon gearbox with metal gears, and a metal internal barrel. It also has the same woodgrain finish with similar colours as the previous AKM.

SO WHAT DO WE RATE IT?

LOOKS

The RX AKS-47 an awesome looking blaster, with the folding stock and ability to fold it underneath all the way forward makes it an 8/10 for us! 

FIRE POWER

This blaster is full automatic and runs on 11-volt, has the 480 mid motor and shoots around that 15-plus RPS straight out of the box. To see how this one shoots through the chrono check out Lee's video from 3:18! We rate this one a 7/10. 

MODABILITY

With the V3 gearbox, you can buy V3 boxes if you want to go down the metal route. You can change the gears, the RX AKS-47 does have different gears compared to V2's but they are still able to be found. It also has an alloy barrel, so we give this one an 8/10. It is a bit harder to mod compared to other blasters but a lot of the parts are out there if you'd like! 

DURABILITY

This blaster does have blowback still equipped, if you are doing full mag dumps you might get some long-term issues with some abuse in the blow back system. It does operate directly linking to the piston inside the gearbox so we can't stress enough: If you want this blaster to last long-term use it as directed. This one is an 8/10! 

FOR WHERE & WHO?

This would be perfect for a cosplay or themed party, if you're a milsim player who loves to dress up too this is great!
