How To Get Into Gel Balling For Under $350 π€π
Interested in Gel Ball but don't know where to start? This video with Lee explains everything you need to know to get started!
First things first!
You're going to need to chose a blaster! Lee suggests the CQB Well (Full Nylon) and the Well MRT (Full Nylon). Both of these blasters can be bought for only $199.Β
The CQB has an awesome size and is really effective for the price. It shoots around 240 FPS so it is great value for money. It is also very durable and will last you a long-time if you take care of it properly. Perfect if you're looking to get into CQB gameplay.
The MRT is more for the outdoor field style of gameplay. This one will shoot a little bit further than the CQB. The longer front end is going to really help you out with those outdoor games.Β
From there, you can look at getting some extra magazines for around $25 each. Lee recommends you have at least 3 magazines when you hit the field. That gives you enough ammo to get out there without having to refill your magazine every 200 shots or so.Β
Safety is key
Next up, you must absolutely own eye protection if you own a gel blaster. You can't use one without eye protection. You can pick up a pair of these for as low as $19.99 with excellent quality at one of our M4A1 Gel Blaster stores or online here.Β
You will also need to purchase a blaster bag. New regulations in QLD have expressed the absolute necessity of bagging your blasters when transporting them in public. You can grab one here for only $50. You can also padlock this bag if you need!
You need gels - obviously!
Anything from the Ausgel range is going to be great for your blaster. Lee highly recommends the Armour Tech Milkies. A bag of these gels is only $10.
You will need a Speedloader as well, which is only $10. It is so essential to have one of these so you can fill up your mag with gels fast on the field!Β
